Wind Speed & Direction Masthead Sensor MU7911 The WlND SPEED & DIRECTION MAST SENSOR MU7911 is a high quality, low cost meteorological transducer utilising ball bearings for low friction and long life. The unit can be easily mounted to any mast via the bracket provided. The output from the wind speed transducer is a frequency (27.6Hz= 100km/Hr), which can be interfaced with any standard APCS alarm, transmitter or display with frequency input. The wind direction transducer output is a convenient 0-20k ohm resistive signal corresponding to 0-352° of rotation. This resistive signal can be interfaced with any standard APCS alarm, transmitter or display. The mast unit comes complete with 12.2m (40') of cable, and fittings for mast mounting onto a 32mm diameter mast. APCS can manufacture complete weather stations customised to your specific requirements. |

Rain Detector (v1) RD512 Water resources management requires increasing sophistication applied to irrigation, dust suppression and water storage systems. Rain detection or rain activity is one of the parameters now used for efficient use of water. The APCS Rain Detector RD512 (also known as "Leaf Wetness Sensor" in weather station systems) provides a simple method of detecting rain. The RD512 detector plate changes its resistance value when wet. The detection of this resistance is used as an input to a variety of resistance input devices such as the APCS model CDT128, LLD206, CDT228 or the USC701. To detect short rain intervals an optional heater can be fitted, providing faster drying periods for the detector plate. |
| Room Humidity and Temperature Transmitters RTH09FT The RHT09 transmitters are developed especially for heating, ventilation and air conditioning applications in the range of 10-90% RH. and 0-50°C. The RTH09FT has two 4-20mA loop powered outputs, one for humidity and one for temperature. The excellent product characteristics like the high measuring accuracy and the excellent long term stability are achieved by using the successfully employed and proven humidity sensor HC1000. The high reproducibility of the sensor characteristics allows a simple one point calibration with an economic price performance ratio. |

| Envirotemp (v1) TT503 The 'ENVIROTEMP' room temperature transmitter TT503 is designed as a self-contained, weather resistant, temperature transmitter. The wall mounting IP65 rated polycarbonate enclosure has a Pt100 (DIN 43760) sensor externally mounted on the side. Internally the ENVIROTEMP contains the RTDT501 loop powered temperature transmitter, to convert the temperature to a convenient 4-20mA analog signal. A cable gland (PG9) is provided for cable entry. A power supply of 15-36Vdc run in series with the output of 4-20mA DC means that only two wires need to be run from the instruments to the sensor. Two versions are available:- Standard grade: 0.2% accuracy and Premium grade: 0.1% accuracy *. The standard range is 0-50°C, with many other ranges available, as well as custom ranges with a minimum span of 25°C. |
