Profibus Master with Serial Port Interface The 4104 Profibus Master Gateway provides connectivity options previously unavailable. This solution allows Profibus DP devices, such as variable speed drives, Remote I/O, etc. to be integrated into Rockwell Automation or Schneider Electric platforms via DF1 or Modbus protocols as well as DNP 3.0 Slave and IEC 60870-5-101 compatible devices. All functions of a Profibus Class 1 Master are supported, i.e. the module acts as a central controller that cyclically exchanges information with the slaves in a defined message cycle. In addition, the 'Set_Slave_Address' telegram can be issued via the configuration software. These stand-alone modules are DIN rail mounted, giving front access to all ports. |

This device acts as an effective polling master, slave or as a device interface. With this gateway, multiple connections can be made between Allen-Bradley's EtherNet/IP, DF1, Modicon's Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus. |

Serial Ports (4 ports) with Modbus Plus Interface The 4302 Modbus Plus Interface with multiple Serial Ports adds three additional serial ports, providing a wide variety of connectivity options. This device acts as an effective polling master, slave or as a device interface. With this gateway, multiple connections can be made between Allen-Bradley¹s DF1 and Schneider Electric¹s Modbus protocols. This interface allows DF1 and Modbus networks to transfer data to the Modbus Plus network. The Master command list in the 4302 allows data to be gathered from the Modbus Plus network and fed to the end devices or vice versa. |
