The solar regulator is designed to automatically :

• Protect your battery from solar power overcharge
• Maintains your battery in a fully charged state
• Protects your battery from solar power discharge

The "Red" light is assigned to illuminate if you have incorrectly connected the battery to the solar controller.

The "Charging" light will illuminate while the battery is being charged.

The "Green" light will illuminate when the battery has been fully charged.

The "Amber" light will flash when the controller is in float mode.

Steca's 6 Amp Solar Regulator is designed to act as an intelligent switch between the battery terminal and the solar panel. It includes such funtcions as;

• Protects the battery from being over charged.
• Has positive and negative grounding.
• Will connect the load automatically, to prevent the battery from going flat in low light conditions.
